Here at Impact PR & Communications, we’ve built a dynamic and go-getting team and, as our agency continues to grow, we want to share with you what it means to be an ‘Impacter’ and we’ll do that by way of our new spotlight series where you meet us, the savvy PR professionals with a knack for getting results.
But first up, we have some exciting news to share. The Impact team is thrilled to announce the addition of Sheila Bogan, senior account executive, to our team! Sheila joins us from the American Cancer Society and will oversee several of the firm’s professional services, nonprofit, lifestyle and tourism and hospitality clients. Keep reading on to get the full scoop on Sheila!
How would you describe yourself in three words? I am positive, thoughtful, and upbeat.
What are you most excited about in your new role at Impact? I’m so thrilled to be joining the Impact team and to be mentored by the amazing women who work here.
Tell us one thing about yourself that would surprise us? I’m a Hanson fan. MMMBop for life!
What is your favorite kind of food? My favorite food is Italian (specifically chicken parm) but Mexican is a close second.
Who is your role model and why? My role model is my dad, Jim. Despite the challenges of working and raising two girls as a single parent, he always found time to fill our lives with wonderful memories and experiences. Pancake breakfasts on the weekends, dance parties in the kitchen, helping us with science projects, hot gluing our Girl Scout patches on our vests, taking us to concerts and birthday parties… the list goes on. He has supported us through everything, and I am honored to be his daughter.
What are your favorite Hudson Valley hotspots? I love the Hyde Park Drive-In during the summer. I also enjoy visiting historical sites like Boscobel, FDR, and Wilderstein. Great places to have a scenic picnic!
Favorite magazine or publication to read? Vanity Fair
