#MeetTheTeam: Impact Welcomes Bailey Fredericks

September 29, 2025

Over the last eleven years, the Impact team has continued to grow and evolve into the agency it is today…and we’re not slowing down! We are always on the lookout for great talent, so we’re thrilled to welcome Bailey Fredericks, Impact’s newest public relations assistant to the team. Want the full scoop on Bailey? Keep reading on!

How would you describe yourself in three words?

The three O’s (optimistic, opportunistic and organized).

What are you most excited about in your new role at Impact?

Since graduating Monmouth, I have been anxious to get back into the busy world of PR. At Impact, I hope to contribute to important and effective PR campaigns, both big and small, that make a true impact on our clients. Throughout previous internships, I practiced many entry-level tasks, as I’m sure I will here as well, such as updating and maintaining media lists, monitoring for press hits, and creating press clippings. However, I’m excited to work with the team on more immersive PR strategies like crisis comm, event planning and content creation.

Tell us one thing about yourself that would surprise us?

I usually read four-six books a month: that’s 48-72 books per year. I like to set little reading goals for myself, but two of my long-term goals include: (1) read 100 books in one year and (2) read all of Stephen King’s books (which means I have over 60 novels, hundreds of short stories to get through).

What is your favorite kind of food?

Do I HAVE to pick just one? Probably potatoes, but only if I can have them in all forms (chips, French fries, mashed, baked, etc.).

Who is your role model and why?

My role models are my parents. They are the most hardworking people I know and I feel like they teach me something new every day!

What are your favorite Hudson Valley hotspots?

I love going to Vanderbilt Mansion, located in Hyde Park, during the summer for a hike or picnic. In the fall, my favorite place to go to is Meadowbrook Farm in Wappingers Falls – they have the most delicious cider donuts and fun activities like apple and pumpkin picking. For good food, I recommend any restaurant on Franklin Avenue in Millbrook, but especially the Millbrook Café! On the weekends, you can find me on Main Street in Beacon, usually hopping between Vincent’s Eat-Pray-Love Bourbon Bar and The Vinyl Room. But there are really so many hidden gems in the Hudson Valley – it’s hard to narrow it down to just a few!

Favorite magazine or publication?

Definitely Hudson Valley Magazine. I love a lifestyle publication, but one centered around my home is even better!

What are you most looking forward to learning?

At Impact I’m looking forward to learning more about working with clients outside of the beauty/cosmetics and non-profit realm (which are the only clients I have worked with in the past). As I said before, crisis comm is also a big interest of mine, though I’ve never had the opportunity to work on a crisis comm project before. Further, I’m excited to learn how PR teams attack crises.

If we are talking what I’m excited to learn in general, I’m currently working as a marketing coordinator and social media manager for a construction company. Everyday I’m learning more about different types of editing software and it’s super exciting; also, learning new social media trends, analytics, and strategies are prevalent in my day-to-day.
