The team here at Impact PR & Communications is always on the lookout for great talent and, lucky for us, we’ve had the opportunity to work with several local college students and graduates over the past five years.
And just in time for our next spotlight series where you meet us, the dedicated team here at Impact, we’re thrilled to announce our newest intern/PR assistant, Rebecca Malinowski! After meeting with Rebecca, we knew she would fit right in. Join us in giving Rebecca a warm welcome and keep on reading to get to know her a little better!
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Enthusiastic, honest and social
What are you most excited about in your new role at Impact?
I’m most excited about working closely with a diverse set of clients and seeing the impact of my work on Hudson Valley businesses.
Tell us one thing about yourself that would surprise us?
I’m a huge fan of the Beach Boys and I even had the chance to sing with them on stage, twice!
Appetizers – because they’re first, fast and bite-sized!
Who is your role model and why?
I know it’s cliché, but my dad is my biggest role model because he has always encouraged me to embrace my interests and find new ways to challenge myself. My dad also knows how to find the humor in any tough situation, which is certainly an important life lesson!
What are your favorite Hudson Valley hotspots?
I love going to trivia night at the Newburgh Brewing Company. I heard it’s the hardest trivia in the Hudson Valley! As far as hiking goes, I can never turn down a walk around Lake Minnewaska in New Paltz.
Favorite magazine or publication to read?
As a huge classic rock junkie, I love reading Rolling Stone magazine.
